In addition to this year’s Big Bang music festival for children, we welcome you to a seminar which enlighten the topic cultural festivals and its changing audiences, with special focus on cultural events for children and youth.
Guttorm Andreasen, one of Norway’s most experienced and versatile music journalists and musicians will guide us through the day, in addition to present his view on the strengths and weaknesses of the changing audiences in the cultural sector.
GrowOP! 2017 is Denmark’s first opera festival for children and youth. It is part of the European Capital of Culture Aarhus in 2017 and has made several pilot projects to develop the opera festival and its audience. Joan Naldal will present some of them here.
Elien Vanhaesebroeck from Belgium is a social media expert who passionately talks about the knowledge of using social media in an effective manner. She has experience from several types of organizations and companies in Belgium, and we can look forward to exciting workshops and lectures.
Finally, some of Big Bang’s European network partners share their strategies for reaching out to new audiences for children and youth.
