Afríka-Lole is a dance- and drum group focusing on Music, teaching playing drums, drum- and dance-shows and teaching dances. Afríka-Lole has had numerous of workshops in dancing and playing the drums, both for children and adults. Afríka-Lole introduces african culture to icelanders and gives them a platform to learn and get to know african music, arts, drumming and dancing. Afríka-Lole visits schools, senior homes and all kinds of firms and foundations and performs in concerts and festivals.
The main agenda of Afríka-Lole is to introduce african culture, music, dance and other arts to iclandic society and to give icelanders with african origin a platform to share their culture with others and for all to enjoy the magic of the rythm and joy that african music is so well known for.
