Mobile Touch is an interactive installation made up of various electronic instruments created for the occasion. A series of curious devices that break the barrier between the spectator and the creator and propose an intimate relationship between each of the instruments and the performer/manipulator. Precisely this contact, referred to in the title Mobile Touch, is one of the keys to the research on music as a communication factor of Steim, the artistic collective responsible for the installation. Steim, Studio for Electro-Instrumental Music created in Amsterdam, is a working team that has a cultural center that researches and works in different lines: software, hardware, composition, visual arts, production, artistic residencies, programming... Halfway between the concept of exposition and exhibition, Mobile Touch is a highly recommended experience where young and old will be surprised about how gestures, movements or actions can be transformed into sounds thanks to chips, sensors, microphones and cables.
