Once there was a man who travelled all over the world with a tape recorder under his arm. His mission: to record the loveliest folk songs and ensure they would never be forgotten. His name: Alan Lomax. The musician Jan Van Outryve has chosen the most beautiful songs from his gigantic archive, adapted them for a band and recorded two wonderful CDs. Especially for BIG BANG Festival, Jan will present the very best of these CDs live with the entire band.
Three fantastic singers are ready to give the very best of themselves. Behind them is a unique band with a rich and colourful sound. Together they play music to celebrate, cry, sleep, remember or set out on an adventure... Every song is a little gem with a story of its own. Expect a vibrant, moving concert for everyone aged 5 and above.
